These materials will be used to educate children outdoors. The will be given time to explore outside in several of the spaces available at our school. There will be structured activities such as a nature scavenger hunt and journaling. I plan to start introducing my students to our outdoor space during the first weeks of school, and then continue to use it at least two or three times a week. Each session will start off with a read aloud. I hope to encourage my students to love the outdoors as much as I do, and to give them that space as a place to find peace but also adventure.
