Our Parents as Teachers program focuses on equipping and empowering parents to guide their children in meeting developmental milestones. This program provides child development information and developmentally appropriate activities for promote parent-child interaction and family well-being. These materials will help children develop fine motor skills, literacy and language skills, and sensory and imaginary play at home and when attending school. Fine motor, sensory, literacy and art materials all contribute to children's brain development, motor skills, language skills, social-emotional, and cognitive skills. These skills, which will be developed by the motor and sensory materials requested, are vitally important to children's healthy development.
