Technology moves the world! Technology has saved education this year, and as we move back to some sense of normalcy, technology is still very much needed. As I move from classroom to classroom, grade level to grade level, it is imperative to socially distance. As a special educator, using many sources of manipulatives and resources is imperative to seeing my students be successful. Having access to an iPad will provide an opportunity for my students to engage in multi-levels of learning while providing an opportunity to do so safely, as we are not able to share laptops, and I am not able to touch their devices. With an iPad, I can share a screen with them, moving around the room easily, and provide them with an opportunity to engage virtually with other students on their reading and math levels. I can also mitigate germs by very easily wiping the screen down between students, groups, and classrooms.
