I would like to provide my students with as many fun hands-on activities as I can, so that they can grasp concepts in science that they may find difficult by just looking at photos, using online games, and watching videos. The more students have the opportunity to touch and manipulate material, the better their understanding will be. It is important to bring in the NGSS standards into my science lessons (and possibly math) with exciting phenomena and lab activities to really engage them in understanding changes in the Earth's landscape, energy transformation, sound and light waves, and animal structures and functions. I also want to enrich their school experience with extracurriculars such as coding and robotics. I provide after school clubs to facilitate this.
