The materials and supplies I am requesting will help support my young students while distance learning at home and support modified in-class learning. Age-appropriate scissors, glue sticks and pencils will create confident learning while learning life long skills. Supplies like Play-doh and white boards provide fine motor and hand strengthening activities that will help support good writing. Providing the same items for all my students regardless if they are at home or in the classroom will give equal access learning for all. Diverse stories will create an environment of belonging, empathy and diversity for my students. These stories have characters that my students can relate to and feel excited to read. Providing diverse books that relate to different races, cultures and ethnicity will help to create a welcome and positive environment for all students. While I was growing up I wish there were books and stories that I could have related to that would have help me feel connected to my peers.Please help me provide this spark of interest, and connectivity for my students.
