I am a speech-language pathologist working with students who have difficulty reading, expressing their thoughts, understanding what they have read, and being understood by others. These materials will assist me to overcome these obstacles that prevent their ability to progress in school and in their community. While teaching them the basics of communication, I also want them to become great thinkers that can benefit their own community, while also having a diverse world view and acceptance of others that may be different from them. That is why I have chosen materials about people inside and outside of their culture and community

About my class
