Currently, while teaching distance learning, I have one laptop that I use everyday. As we move along in distance learning, I am finding it difficult to teach with only one screen. In ASL, it’s so important that my students can visually see me and what I am signing from more than one angle. The reason for this is so they can learn easier how to sign the words themselves too. Plus, I could check for understanding. Currently, when I am giving a lesson with a slideshow, I can only see myself and my slideshow. I have no idea if my students are comprehending as much as I would like to. Having another monitor would let me see my sideshow on one computer and my students on the other monitor.
