I strive to provide choice in my classroom. It is super important that readers get to choose what they read at the middle grade level. I promote daily independent reading in my classroom, and have started my own classroom library. Since my school does not have a library, it is important that I get interesting books into the hands of my students. These books will help me provide additional choices for my students. The books I have chosen are all books with diverse characters. My students need to be able to see themselves in the books they choose to read. Your donation will help me extend my classroom library and provide some diverse selections for independent reading in my classroom.
