This year I will be teaching my students in a 100% remote setting. Most of the students I will be teaching have selected this option because they come from high risk families and need to limit exposure to COVID-19. They deserve the best learning experience possible and I am so excited to give it to them. However, in order to give them access to the highest quality instruction I need to upgrade my technology. This Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil will help so much. Delivering feedback to a class of 28 on a digital platform is not easy. Having a keyboard to utilize will allow me to efficiently give feedback quickly to students so that we can work together to correct mistakes in understanding and highlight their successes and strengths. The Apple Pencil will allow me to use platforms such as Jamboard and other digital whiteboard programs to illustrate mathematical concepts and work problems with students in a live virtual setting.
