The use of an iPad will help our kindergarten students in daily classroom activities. Many of these students are first-year students, and they rely heavily on visual learning. Having an iPad to use in daily activities is engaging, and has a variety of applications to add on for the students to learn. The iPad will help me model for them how to use the apps to help them increase their desire to learn and use new technology. We will be able to download many applications that are specific to the differentiating needs of the students and their specific learning style. We can access our kindergarten curriculum individually and together as a whole class. Students can learn phonics, reading, writing, math, science, and art in fun and innovative ways. We can also use applications that will teach the students about coins and bills, to learn the value of money and how it is used in real-world settings. It would be an engaging way to introduce math. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
