The art materials will continue to enhance the multifaceted curriculum that I strive to create. Drawing is an activity that my students really enjoy! Every lesson page created is done with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to show what they learned through artistic expression. Having the opportunity to draw what they learned offers teachers a different medium to asses students. Also students are required to handwrite in cursive all information on each lesson page with attention to detail, neatness, and care. This will offer students long lasting life skills such as good penmanship, spacial orientation, and planning. In addition, a number of my students have experienced trauma at home and art has provided a form of relaxation and solace for them. Lastly, by donating to our project you will offer students the opportunity to have access to art materials that are not available at our school.
