These read alouds will be used during our live morning meetings as well as recorded read alouds for students to watch. These books focus on a wide variety of social emotional learning topics such as kindness, empathy, perseverance and many more. These books will allow for authentic conversations about our feelings. We will be using books such I Am Human- A Book of Empathy to learn more about what empathy is, why it is important and how do we show empathy for each other. Every month we will focus on a new topic. Each week will be doing one social emotional read aloud that will lead to a discussion on the focus of the month. These books are the last books I need to complete all my social emotional read alouds to my students.
