Every child has the right to learn. Education is such a big part of exposing students to new ideas and helping children find what they are passionate about, which will later help them pursue what their heart desire as an adult. I teach in a school where we have diverse children all throughout our community. I am requesting wonderful books that have so much meaning. These include "I am Enough", "Chocolate Me", "The Name Jar" and so many more. Many of these students' families come from third war countries seeking a life where their children can strive and be successful. I try to teach my students that who they are and where they come from is important. I work hard to provide a classroom where each individual student feels that they are enough. It is my hope that I am granted the opportunity to continue to show my students this with these amazing books which will plant a seed of hope, thought, creativity, and self-empowerment. These students are worthy of this and much more.
