While my students are currently in a virtual setting, my classroom is not very conducive to students that are prone to needing to wiggle. While I have a few different table options, there is no alternative seating. Flexible seating options not only help bring fun back into the classroom, but will also help my students use their energy in a functional way. My students need alternative seating options so that they can work in an environment that helps them focus. They can sit in a bean bag while working on their reading. They can use wiggle seats and exercise balls to work at group tables. The different pads can be added to their desks to provide wiggle opportunities and sensory input.
