These materials will allow me to create a hands-on, interactive and collaborative atmosphere in my math classroom. Students will be able to explore math and have the tools necessary to engage in rich mathematical tasks and discussions both inside and outside of the classroom. The whiteboards will allow me to easily see students' solutions for a quick assessment of student understanding. The clipboards will allow me to take my students' learning outside of the classroom for a nice relaxing day of Pythagorean Theorem mini golf, finding the volume of objects in the community, gathering real life data from other students and teachers in the school, and other hands-on lessons I develop throughout the year!
