My students love reading. These fourth graders are crazy about graphic novels and anything Dog Man related. If this project gets funded, my students will have access to class sets of books they enjoy reading. Developing young readers' love and thirst for knowledge is what teaching young children is all about. I am lucky to have students who already love reading. We just need more books! We will use these books to read together and study how authors use various techniques to engage readers. We will also have enough copies of the beloved books students already love.

About my class
