As a teacher fresh out of the general education classroom, I am reenergized and excited to tackle my new role as a reading intervention specialist. Supporting students to reach their literacy goals is my passion in life. When I walked into my new teaching space, I found a teacher desk. That was all. No table to sit with children at, no seating for children, just an old fashion teacher desk. My students deserve a collaborative and interactive space to practice their reading goals. We know learning is messy, and the white erase kidney table will allow the natural messiness of learning unfold. The design of kidney shaped table will allow me easy access to work with each reader and deliever the instruction they deserve. The enviroment has an impact on children. When we set up a fun and engaging environment for learning, our children will excel.
