In our classroom we work hard to provide hands on learning opportunities for our students. With this project you will be giving my Firstie Mathematicians materials and resources to build math skills in a fun and engaging way. Students will use the calendar math chart, place value chart, and number of the day, to start our day off to get our brain juices going. It is crucial that students are able to learn hands on and explore. Students will use the magnetic coins, ten frames, number bonds, and clock when we do whole class instruction, and they can come to the board and show off their knowledge. They will use wipe off boards in small group or when they are in their centers being independent learners. Throughout this project, you will be providing hands on opportunities for grow and learn.
