This year our third grade team is putting a great focus on STEAM, Math and Reading projects. These supplies will help us explore science, technology, engineering, art, math and build skills in Reading comprehension. By providing hands-on learning materials, my students can work independently and in small groups to help each other grow and learn in this dynamic world, giving them the skills to be successful in future grades. Students will use Coding and math games to bridge gaps in their learning. It will also provide another avenue for them to explore and grow. The Reading activities will help bridge hands-on activities with our classroom curriculum. I believe that students need to become critical thinkers. I want my students to have the tools and skills necessary to become active problem solvers in their community.
