These stadium seats would provide us easily portable seating that protects our kids from wet ground and provides a barrier to keep the cold out as we sit to write, read and work math problems. Help us work outside more this winter. Some of our students have asked if “rain hurts” - they have never played in the elements. Our program is a new Outdoor Immersion, Inquiry based class for 30 - 2nd grade urban students. We have been using old towels to sit on the grass at the park and play in the forest where we meet for school. As the days continue to get colder and wetter we need a better option for “on the go“ seating. With these seats we could stop having children lug heavy towels and blankets, which only work in dry weather, to and from school and allow our kids to continue exploring the great outdoors. The learning thus far has been magical and we want to keep it going - outside!
