Currently my students are unable to practice their volleyball or racket skills because we do not have any nets. Your contribution to this project will provide the students with pop-up nets that will allow them to work on their skills with a partner. Many of the students have never played volleyball or racket games before and only have seen it on tv or internet. The students will not only be able to learn how to strike with their hands for volleyball or strike with a racket but also be able to place their skills to the test with a partner. Due to limitations in PE because of the pandemic these nets will be a great way for our students to stay physically active while maintaining at least six feet of social distance. This year NYC teachers did not receive funds to purchase resources this school year. Thanks to your generous contribution I will be able to introduce my students to new games and skills.
