Sensory play provides students the opportunity to engage with their counselor and teachers. Students are able to practice focusing and concentrating during play therapy using their sensory toys. Play therapy also allows for students to reveal their feelings and emotions which will allow for teachers, educators and parents to have a smoother day with less tantrums. Using sensory play will allow for students to gain better communication skills, sharing skills, and self control skills! Help my team help our students become better students and have brighter futures! My students may have Autism but Autism does NOT have them!
