Transitioning to the listening station is a daily activity in my classroom. Students utilize the tablets for ELAR during the first part of the day and for Math fluency work during the afternoon. During ELAR students work at their own pace on lessons designed to increase reading and language skills. Math lessons are made more engaging because of the games which help with numeracy fluency. My classroom only has two desktop computers for four small groups of students (22) to transition to for each day. With additional technology in my classroom, students can practice and then perfect the skills learned.
