As we return to the classroom during this global pandemic, it is imperative that we do everything in our power to keep these kids safe. Obtaining these materials is the first step into assuring that every kid in the school is still able to have a normal visual arts experience without having to pass materials to each other. These oil pastels and pencils will allow my students, who cannot afford their own individual art supplies, to still actively participate in class. It is my hope that no matter how different schools will be this year, my students are able to use many different forms of art to express themselves. I believe the opportunity for all students to be creative is vital this year as these students are experiencing many emotions while adjusting to a new environment.

About my class
