Computer-aided design (CAD) programs not only teach 3D modeling but provide opportunities for students to problem-solve. Using a mouse with a CAD program makes the experience faster and more efficient rather than relying on the touchpads on the school-provided devices. Providing a mouse in class ensures that students spend more time creating, and less time trying to navigate the program. This project will benefit over 300 students from diverse backgrounds as they learn to navigate two new CAD programs while making their ideas and projects come to life with the 3D modeling software.
