These supplies will set my students up for success in their (online) classrooms. With these notebooks and dry erase supplies, students are given the opportunity to practice their handwriting, spelling, and storytelling skills while reflecting on their own understanding of the content. Studies show that "learning is enhanced when students acquire knowledge through active processes that engage them" (Hartshorn and Boren, 1990). The use of the counting cubes in our math lessons is key in helping the students move from concrete experiences to abstract reasoning, a difficult but essential transition for young learners. All of these supplies will be effectively utilized and well-loved by my students! Thank you for playing such an important part in their education!
