These Wonder books will help my students hone their characters. I got to know the book by watching the movie based on the book and was super touched and inspired by the movie. I started to look for the same movie in Chinese after watching the movie in order to show to my students as they are not supposed to watch movies in English in my Chinese classroom. However, I couldn’t find the same movie in Chinese, but I found the books both in English and Chinese. I am going to give the book to each of my students as their birthday gifts to help build an uplifting and inspiring community in my classroom. I will also recommend them to read the books with their parents as the book talks a lot about parenting as well. Overall, I believe the books will help my students build healthy, uplifting, and inclusive characters. They will help me build a healthy and friendly community in my classroom and help my students’ parents with their parenting at home.
