I am teaching 1st grade for the first time and, after realizing just how little they were and that they would be sitting at tables, decided seat sacks were the way to go for storage, especially in today's climate. I also have a great organizer for them to put their papers in....we just need new trays. Finally, pencil boxes for each student would allow them to keep their items separate from their classmates. We will use these items to place our take home papers in, organize our school supplies and keep cross contact to a minimum. Also, it will teach responsibility as each student will need to keep up with his/her items. This will be an exciting year for my first graders and we appreciate all the support we receive! First graders are HARD WORKERS! Help us meet our potential by helping us stay organized. I want to teach my students to respect their things and the things of others. We are ready for the challenge that this school year will most definitely provide!
