My pupils are curious and they learn better if their hands are busy. This project will give them the opportunity to access manipulative options to expand their knowledge. The students will also be using the items while we are working on their IEP goals and practicing their fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are important to develop coordination. When the students have access to more materials they have the opportunity to gain more dexterity. Children learn better by experience and the sensory input can help motivate student to explore the world.
