This year I would like to inspire my girls to use books to help motivate them in creating their STEM projects. By allowing broader book choices, my girls can become inspired by the characters of their books. My hope is to encourage the girls to push their thinking when doing their STEM projects this year. My project contains STEM centered books geared toward my readers' levels. The chapter books and graphic novels will get a STEM twist! For example, once a student has finished a chapter book, graphic novel, or series, they will choose how to create a STEM project using their book. They can design books marks that highlight the characters to be 3D Printed, they can use stop motion technology to create a book trailer, they can program bots to bring the stories they read to life. The possibilities are endless.
