I am requesting the funds for an iPad so that I may better implement content delivery for my scholars using the sidecar capabilities with my MacBook. Using Zoom for online learning during a pandemic is unconventional, but has been one of the most consistent platforms to use. With any given lesson, there is a slide deck that I project onto my whiteboard and mirror my computer camera so that my students may watch me in real-time solve the problems and walk through the lesson that we are going over for the day. Having an iPad connected to my computer will allow me to mirror what my school leaders do, and have the ability to annotate through Zoom so that my students can better see the presentation since the screen is being shared directly to them. Scholars deserve an equitable opportunity at a quality education. That being said, I need to have the tools to aid in my abilities to give them that education. With these donations, I will be able to put more of my personal funds towards decorating the remainder of my classroom and purchasing supplies that students will be able to use when needed.
