Flexible seating will make social distancing in the classroom much easier to do. The seating will be used for many years to come and most importantly, is easy to clean daily to keep students safe. The clipboards will be used so students don't have to stay at their desks, but will have the freedom to move around to safe distanced spots around the room. Students will have the freedom to choose their seating and clipboard for the day and select a spot where they feel comfortable and safe. Flexible seating, will not only help keep my students safe but it also helps students be more engaged. I have experienced that students work better when they are given choices and a sense of responsibility. The go anywhere chair and cube chair are easy for students to handle and move to their desired spots. The bean bag chairs will be perfect for students to cuddle up and read or do independent work on their clipboards.
