My 6th graders and 8th graders are behind in Chinese due to the learning loss through pandemic-impacted learning. I have requested many materials that will help my students to make up their learning gap due to covid, to practice their Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and to raise their interests in learning Chinese language and Chinese culture. I requested Chinese calligraphy writing materials because my students really lack of writing in Chinese due to online learning in the past one year and a half. I requested headphones and a speaker so during the weekly learning centers time, my students can practice listening and speaking through Mandarin Matrix and Level Learning. Lastly, I requested an ipad, so I will be able to use airplay to show great student works to all students which is convinent and efficient. I also requested the ipad and a webcam in case school switch to online learning.
