My kindergarten team has to individualize all supplies this school year due to Covid19 related regulations and guidelines. Kindergarten will not look the way it has in past years. There will be no sharing of school supplies or books and my team and I will be making individual buckets of learning materials for each student to use. We need to laminate many materials to ensure they will last the entire school year. It would be a big help to have our own personal laminating machine to use at our convenience. We would also love to be able to bind the books that we print out for our students. The binding machine will enable us to do this. We would love to give our kindergarten students the choice of sitting in a scoop rocker instead of regular classroom chairs during lessons this school year! We are trying to come up with some fun ways to change things up since children must maintain 6 feet of social distancing throughout the school day. There will be no circle time or story time at the rug, so providing our students with an additional seating choice with a scoop rocker that can easily get cleaned and disinfected is one option we are hopeful to provide.
