In our synchronous class activities concepts presented will be set up or modeled in part. Then students will have the opportunities to conduct further investigation and experimentation at home during their asynchronous learning time. At home exploration in weather, biome and physics concepts will be chronicled and discussed in our synchronous meetings and work groups. We will use the Lego Klutz Chain Reactor to study the laws of Friction and Inertia. The Biome books will set the stage for creating mini biomes at home. Anatomy models will be shared in study groups and weather experiment books will be referenced by study groups as they select experiments to conduct and observe, documenting for presentation.
