I want to use these chromebooks to teach my students computer skills needed for when they start state testing and computer based learning and projects in the third grade through high-school. I can help students learn to type on a key board, access the internet for online curriculum materials safely, internet safety and how to appropriately handle a computer without breaking them. These 3 chromebooks will give my classroom a chance to have a small group computer lesson a few days a week. This time of distance learning has shown that my students need to learn computer skills in the classroom earlier than waiting for them to enter third grade and being taught the skills during state testing and not have access to the full curriculum in the classroom.
