As we embark on this new adventure of Distance Learning, we will be pioneering new ways of teaching and learning. As a science teacher, I want to share stories of women pioneers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Women who were brave and creative and who changed our world for the better. Seeing people who look like you in in professional careers is a critical component to building identity. These books will allow me to read aloud and will provide students with resources as they experience being a pioneer, while being introduced to different careers and pathways into STEM.

About my class
