Covid19 has brought to light how essential the arts are to schools as well as mental and emotional health. In my mission to keep art equitable and accessible, I am hoping to provide each student in my Painting 1 class with their "at home" painting kit. During the pandemic in March, many of my students were left at home working without the necessary materials needed to create their own artwork. As I gave basic assignments, I realized just how many students were without art materials in their home. As we start the school year remotely, they will once again need creative materials at home.

About my class
