Funding this project will give a space for so many students to be a part of learning in the music room. Having a space to call their own among their classmate and piers is just one of the benefits. It also helps students recognize symbols they have learned in class and inquire about new ones they have yet to learn. In lessons, students will use the shape of the carpet and the lines within it to use their instruments. By receiving this musical rug, music lessons will be highly focused on this project and it's usage every day. This space will be used to seat 700+ students, a space for the class to do activities, and for the class to reference pictures and symbols.
