As we are finally returning to in person instruction, after a long absence due to the pandemic, it is even more important now that lesson plans become more creative and imaginative. Financial literacy is a critical concept that children need to be exposed to in order for children to be successful in the future. My children need to understand the meaning of financial literacy and how it will impact their life in the future. They need to understand such concepts as money, economy, savings, income, budgeting, and wants and needs. The resources from Teachers Pay Teachers that will be purchased will include such things as a unit on money, practice making change, and project based learning projects that can be done at home or at school that involve these key concepts.
