In the upcoming school year, our district is proposing either a hybrid model or fully remote learning for students. This project serves to get students basic art supplies such as paint, paper, glue sticks, popsicle sticks and other materials that will allow them to create puppets, homes, oceans, gardens, animals and use the vocabulary they're learning in their unit themes. For example, in our first unit - Family, students can use the art supplies to create visual representations of their home lives and family members! PreK students still need to be able to learn in a play-based environment and use art and visual representation as a way to share their thinking. This project would allow my students equal access and opportunity to create and explain their thinking and learning! Any help you can provide would really impact my students ability to engage with learning from their homes.
