Children with autism often experience the world differently than a typical person. In addition to sensory challenges, this is often due to their extreme difficulties with body in space disconnections. They may not know where you start and they begin. Body awareness is key. If you don't know where your body parts are it's difficult, if not impossible, to sit at a table and pay attention which results in constant missed learning opportunities. By donating to the purchase of adaptive seating, you will be responsible for helping 6 little children organize their bodies for learning. Then, the sky is the limit.
