These books will provided an amazing opportunity to build our classroom community around discussions and celebrations of differences. We are starting the year online so I plan to share these books through virtual read alouds. When we finally come back together in the classroom, they will be available for students to explore as well! Building a classroom community is crucial to a successful school year. These books give every student a mirror to see themselves, connect, and learn from each other. Thank you for your consideration! My third graders are so excited to begin reading!
