These devices will have communication software downloaded onto them so non-verbal students can talk to us. These devices will help my developmentally delayed students learn how to communicate their needs with the world. Most of my students never receive a device for communication and that limits their communication to 2 picture choices at all times. With these, I can begin teaching my students how to use the software at their level thus creating better communication from the students, and a better chance of them receiving a device at home. These devices are the best way to give my students a chance to communicate with their teachers and families.
