The materials on my wish list will be used in the classroom but also in an outdoor setting. I love the Project Based Learning approach, especially for Kindergarteners! Let them explore the world around them in a safe matter and use their curiosity to fuel their learning. Kindergarten brings a lot of changes to students, they need to learn positive ways to handle those changes. Many of the items on my wish list are to help students get their bodies ready to learn as well as their mind. I use a lot of yoga, cardio drumming, meditation and group meetings to help students self regulate and focus their bodies and mind but most importantly, build relationships with others.
