From grief and trauma to positive growth mindset and conflict resolution skills - these various guidance lessons and social-emotional learning can help achieve the many needs of my students. Children are little explorers and learn through play and excitement. Having access to a variety of resources and materials used will help better meet the diverse needs of my students. For example, journaling is a known coping tool that helps promote the exploration of thoughts and feelings. My students will emotionally excel if they had access to journals to help heal their grief and trauma.
