As a first-year teacher, a laminator and laminator pouches will be very useful for my students for a variety of learning resources such as visual schedules that support my students throughout their day. Laminating activities increases the durability of differentiated learning activities to meet their individual needs. Laminating social/emotional visuals to hang up in the classroom and at home will support my students communication styles. Also, laminated writing practice activities increases students chances of correcting errors versing starting completely over. Lastly, laminated activities and resources can limit the amount of germs transmitted because they can be easily cleaned. When instructional materials are laminated, it provides durability for many years to come, therefore reaching many students over time. By laminating student activities, they can engage in their learning for an extended period of time as a goal is to increase their time on task skills. Even when challenges arise such as they cannot finish or they are not successful, they will always be able to revisit that activity at a later time or date with a different approach. Laminating materials and resources produces longevity. With your support, I can ensure that my students are attaining the best materials that will be useful during at home learning.
