I am a first year teacher, I am working with what I have and what I am provided. However, I feel that these items will be very beneficial to my students and classroom. We have a monthly author that is incorporated into our lesson plans. The more books I have of each author allows the lessons to involve different text from the author as well as engage the students more with each text. The STEM bins are used to engage students in the mornings and also offer a time for students to get a brain break. Thank you for any help and support for my students and classroom.
