Colorful activities are a great way to get young learners engaged! With a color printer/scanner, I can provide my students with bright and exciting pages and scans of books that are tactile and ready to be sent home for distance learning. Distance learning comes with many challenges. For kindergarteners and 1st graders who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other learning disabilities, this can be even more daunting of a task. I have already sent home a packet of black and white activities for the first month of school, and although many of the students try their best to do their online work, it is apparent how much more engaged they are when they have tactile resources to work with. That is why I want to make distance learning a more positive experience for my students by sending home colorful activities and resources! These resources include personalized visual schedules and token boards, resourceful pages to go along with our learning, and many other fun and colorful pages!
