Considering the changes that students have had in their lives recently, I would like to offer them normalcy in my classroom. Students require the use of dry erase markers and erase to succeed in my room. The wood rounds and paper will be used for exciting art projects. This year each student will require their own materials. Offering different forms of lighting in my classroom is important to me as it can easily set the tone for the day. Having my windows look out at the playground means there is not a lot of natural light throughout the day. The lamp will offer a relaxed mood. In 4th grade, our main focus in social studies is identifying the location and characteristics of the 50 states. I want to give my students an enriching activity through the two books to offer an opportunity for further learning.
